DANCE ON THE MOVE (In Collaboration with Down syndrome Foundation)

Dance on the Move is a combination of Dance/Exercise, Fun, and Ideas Competition. It is a competition where dancers engage themselves in creative dance styles as they move from a start line to the final point.
We are organising this event in collaboration with Down Syndrome Foundation Nigeria who by all means needs the support of every one to put a smile on the faces of this special ones in our society who has gotten little or no attention from both the government and the public as compared to other foundations such as Cancer, diabetes or heart disease. Our aim therefore is to integrate them to the society with love and compassion by giving them the opportunity to mingle with other youths.

How it Works

1. • Dance on the Move is aiming to be an annual event, with its 1st Edition starting 15th of March 2014, where we intend to cover quite a distance, subsequent editions will see dancers cover a longer distance with about 3,000 contestants dancing and moving on the street. But we are starting this first edition with about 500 dancers. However, the contestants have to go through competitions at different stages as they dance and move to the finish line before a winner is crowned. The crowd along with a panel of judges made up of selected dance celebrities firmly decides the winners according to how well they perform.
